It was the first official snowy day in Queens this year and seems perfect timing to celebrate a birthday with Korean barbecue. :) The restaurants was a decent size and I thought the ambiance was very warm and comfortable. Staff members are also so welcoming and friendly. Hubs and I ordered barbecue items: the popular thick-cut pork belly and the LA Galbi then a Seafood soondubu to go with our meal. Our meal started with a huge selection of banchan including kimchi, radish, fried tofu, macaroni salad, kimchi jigae, etc. and my absolute favorite - the steaming egg souffle, which is really good as always! For barbecue, they gave us lettuce wrap and garlic. First up was the thick-cut pork belly and it totally lives up to its reputation! It is not marinated but it was just the perfect amount of fat and meat ratio - I loved the simple sesame oil and salt dip that came with it. It was our favorite item of the day. The LA Galbi was nicely marinated and flavorful but we did wish that it was a little more charred. Seafood Soondubu was surprisingly delicious and probably one of my favorite versions of it! It was a nice addition to our meal. One thing we did noticed is that we do not get this heavy feeling after our meal especially all the healthy veggie-based banchans! We really enjoyed our meal and I cannot wait to come back for more pork belly! We got a cup of seasonal Ginger Cinnamon Tea at the end - it is not for the weak especially if you do not like ginger but I loved it! It was sweet and warming end to our meal!

Daori BBQ is such an exceptionally delicious KBBQ restaurant in a neighborhood that is filled with KBBQ! The star among their meats is the duck, and it did not disappoint. It's the perfect combination of fatty richness and tender, flavorful meat, and the aged kimchi that they grill alongside it takes it to another level. We enjoyed it so much. The pork belly was also very tasty, as was their mandoo and kimchi pancake. They are also very generous with their banchan dishes and give you complimentary jigae and egg soufflé. The service was great. Our servers were so sweet and very attentive. The vibe is intimate and cozy overall. It's a no frills spot but truly delivers in terms of the quality of the food. I can't wait to return soon!

What an amazing Korean BBQ place! Everything we had was executed exceptionally. The star is the duck and you should get two orders! You can thank me later! Service is very attentive and the ambiance is great. If you like Korean food, this is the place to go! No frills delicious food

Food is delicious. Dishes arrive within seconds of ordering and employees are prompt with refilling sides and drinks. They're attentive to banchans customers are keen on and will wordlessly bring duplicates even if we are only half-way through. This is my favorite Korean barbeque spot in Queens.

I visited for lunch on a Monday with a friend. The restaurant was quite lively, having quite a number of customers when we went. We were seated quickly, but we had some difficulty communicating with the staff as we don't speak Korean. My friend had been here before, so we planned to order the Chuncheon Dak Galbi along with the Kimchi Cheese Bokkeumbap. However, the menu wasn't clear on the fact that you need to order two portions of the Chuncheon Dak Galbi to be able to get the Kimchi Cheese Bokkeumbap. When I initially tried to order it, the waitress said they didn't have the Kimchi Cheese Bokkeumbap, which was confusing. Thankfully, my friend added two portions of the Chuncheon Dak Galbi to the order, and the waitress accepted it. The interaction felt a bit unclear, and if my friend hadn't been there before, we likely wouldn't have understood how to order the dish. That said, the side dishes and the meal itself were pretty good. The flavors were satisfying, and we enjoyed the food once everything was sorted out.

Came here a few times and have not been disappointed yet! Had their pork and duck BBQ the first time and had their soups the following times. All amazingly Service was amazing! The servers will man the grill for you which is a huge plus imo. They'll cook it the right way. They give you a cold ginger soup drink in the end that's very refreshing! Last but not least, banchans are on point! Prices may be average to slightly more expensive but nothing too out of the ordinary. Will highly recommend and can't wait to come back in the future!

Came here on Saturday and Sunday (back to back days) because I loved this spot so much. Had their BBQ and I love how they grill everything for you. I don't speak Korean and they were still very nice to me. She gave me a disposable bib without me asking as I was wearing white. I don't think the meats are very marinated but if you add all the paste and sesame oil they give you'll be fine. They kept refilling our lettuce which was nice. Best part was BBQ came with a free steamed egg and soup. The soup could've easily been an entree soup! I got the duck and pork belly but will try other meats next time! Their bonchons are all amazing, especially their kimchi. I also like how they rotate their bonchons so it's never exactly the same. Their cold noodles are very refreshing but their hot stews are so flavorful I will probably do this again next time. Love that they end your meal with a cinnamon ginger drink. Overall amazing food and fantastic service!

The food is amazing, but the customer service is lacking. The treatment of nonregulars and non-Korean speaking customers is somewhat disappointing. They removed us from our half table to sit a larger party. They gave us another table about 15 minutes later. However, they didn't really do anything to make us feel better other than offer soda. The staff don't speak much English as well, so when they were asking us questions, it took some time to understand. The grilled duck was delicious. My first time having grilled duck at KBBQ. Juicy and grilled perfectly. Not the most tender duck I've had, but it was pretty good. The pork belly was grilled well too. There was a wide variety of banchan. You could honestly get full off just that, and I almost did because everything was delicious. Two bbq items was more than enough. We had trouble finishing off the makguksu. There was sujeonggwa at the end of the meal to help digest. The food is delicious. However, the service left a bitter taste.

As hole in the wall as it can gets Tucked away from northern blvd is this hidden gem. I am so surprised this place is not more popular. They have all the Korean classics at a great price. Their short rib and buckwheat noodles are phenomenal. Service here is top notch too - tons of excellent panchan. Free stream egg and doenjjanjiggae. And a free bowl of cinnamon drink to close the meal. We were stuffed at the end of the meal. Def give them a try!
